This is one of the few papers on Plant Oils Fuel talking combustion chamber modification of an engine, boiler burners and fouling problems and heavy pollution linked to the use of oil in the bad conditons. A must read if the subject you are interested in fuel oils.

Introduction

The after oil, unique forunisseur liquid fuels is inevitable because since the end of the year 80, discoveries barely cover the increase in global demand. In our present consumption patterns, the emergence of new sources of renewable fuels or not a necessity. The arrival of biofuels in fuel oils and essences is highly foreseeable that they are from national or no resources.

In this context of strong growth in prices of oil and environmental concerns, some socio-economic actors, especially from the world of agriculture and agricultural para, becoming interested in the use of pure plant Guiles for energy purposes as automobile fuel, stationary engines (pumps, generator sets), burning (heating of buildings, greenhouses ...) or industrial applications (lubricants, non-toxic solvents, paints, inks ...).

These oils are produced from oilseeds (Canola, Sunflower, Buriti, babassu, Palme ...) on agricultural land, fallow or not, more or less large quantities by soil and economic and agricultural contexts. The agricultural sector, and some local authorities give them a attetion increasingly important and wonder about their use as a partial alternative to fossil fuels.
