A century after E = O mc2 Electrodynamics (3) inaugurated the Age of Zero Point. Marc Hermans December 2001.
A group of physicists has recently proposed an extended version of the classical electromagnetic Maxwell electrodynamics under the name O (3).
This new version of electrodynamics not only allows us to understand certain phenomena of nonlinear optics far unexplained, but also leaves open the possibility of a real vacuum engineering: direct energy extraction from the empty and manipulation of gravitation and inertia become technological possibilities within reach.
This model, using the formalism of quaternions (expensive Maxwell), appears also as a subset of a unified field theory developed in recent years by Mendel Sachs from the development of the tensor of space-time of the Einstein's general relativity.
