Synthetic page on the various proven facts about the water injection system in engines Gillier-appointed Pantone and water injection in the engines more generally. by Christophe Martz, ENSAIS engineer 2001 January 2008
This article is about a summary page of doping to the water via a Gillier-Pantone system.
It was written by Christophe Martz 2007 in May on the occasion of the Press conference of Vitry sur Orne, Proofreading January 2008.
This explains why some ideas on this page were included in certain sections of press review of Vitry.
1) The water doping Gillier Pantone: overview
A) Several hundred industrial engines modified in France for most agricultural tractor engines. varying results up to 60% consumption reduction!
Dozens of examples are available on the following pages: water doping achievements Gillier Pantone
Including this page 8 precisely quantified results.
2) Small Press Review
Dozens of articles have been written about the water injection process. We have grouped those on the forums that we have recovered: Gillier magazine-pantone press.
Among those, here are three particularly interesting.
a) AutoPlus November 2005 Comparative article on commercial fuel savers.
Testing a mounting water doping on a BMW 520i.
20% consumption reduction but increased particulate pollution.
b) Action AutoMoto January-February 2006: full article on "Pantone engine"
Testing a mounting water doping on a Renault 21
Strong reduction of smoked but little or no consumption reduction
c) number Entraid December 24 2006 (Cuma magazine) http://www.entraid.com/
Focus comparative bench 2 155 tractors New Holland TM and test drives supported. Newer engines that meet the emissions standard Tier 2.
25% consumption gain on the test drive and improved torque / power (up + 6%) on the bench test.

3) The injection of water into combustion engines: past and current applications.
a) A brief history of water injection in diesel engines
The technique is far from recent, see the work of the French engineer Clerget from 1901 already possible to improve the performance of diesel engines.
Thus, from 1901, Clerget discovered the virtues of water injection in the diesel on high compression engines (rate at 19 1). Vernet on his drum, the power to pass 14 30 ch when injected water with diesel and thermique2 yield surged forward as spectacular.
It was not until February 1901 the Vernet engine patent was filed (No. 308.376) with the following claims: The principle of decomposition of oxygen in water and hydrogen combustion with heavy oil in the presence of the elements splitting compounds fuels; increased action by additional oxidants or from substances capable of supplying oxygen by decomposition; addition of auxiliary fluids both oxidizers and fuels. b) Use of water injection in aviation and Formula 1 Rally
1942 when used in military aviation, then the formula for 1 80 years and even now in some competition in Rally, it aims to:
- Cool the turbo inlet gas and thus increase the fill rate and the specific power (power relative to the cylinder capacity fixed by the regulations).
- Restrict self detonation (source cliquetit and motor deterioration) by increasing "artificially" octane
- Cool the internal parts and allow to increase the motor overload for some time.
c) water-gas oil emulsion: the Aquazole fuel ELF
Emulsion (more or less) stabilized (active voltage) water for diesel in use, reduction of NOx, CO and unburnt (HC and smoke ...).
There is, by measurements on standard cycles (...) for an EEG compared with diesel fuel used in the formulation of the EEG:
- A reduction in NOx emissions to 15 30%
- A reduction of smoke and soot to 30 80%
- A reduction in particulate emissions of 10 80% to
Compared to the "diesel" base, there is a slight tendency to reduce the energy consumption of approximately 2%, which can be explained by a more complete combustion of hydrocarbons in the presence of water and thus leading to a slight improvement in yield.
- Elf the aquazole
- Composition and evolution of species emitted particulate exhaust of a diesel engine according to the engine parameters and the nature of the fuel (Including the water injection).
d) Conclusion on the water injection
Under certain conditions, inflows of water in an engine are widely proven. It remains to understand what the physico-chemical mechanisms that may come into play in the case of a water doping via Pantone reactor since, if water can promote combustion, it is and will never be a fuel in its H2O form, since it is the ash from the combustion of hydrogen!
The question is what happens, then, to get such good results!
