Water quality in France does not meet the European targets

The European Framework Directive requires Member States 2000 to get a "good" ecological and chemical water by 2015.
This objective will be impossible to hold in France according to a report on the water quality of the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) announced on 6 June and completed under the direction of Jean-Claude Lefeuvre, Professor Emeritus at the Museum and chairman of the scientific committee of WWF.
