Pollution transport underestimated

The European Environment Agency (www.eea.eu.int), in his latest report "Ten key transport and environment issues for policy makers" says that the use of inadequate testing standards led to underestimate emissions of air pollutants from new vehicles. Test cycles do not reflect the actual conditions of use which explains that air pollution does not decrease as rapidly as the technical data raised hopes.
