Presentation of the conference:

While the price of oil flames and emissions of greenhouse gases are threatening to disrupt the climate, a redefinition of our energy policy is becoming more urgent day.

In full commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of Chernobyl, the nuclear debate crystallizes the tensions. Energy deadly for some, it is for his followers a relevant answer to the energy challenges of the twenty-first century.

Among environmentalists, dissenting voices are heard. Grouped in the Association of Environmentalists For Nuclear Energy, some actively in favor of the atom and highlight its benefits to the environment.

Their president, Bruno Comby, will come to the school HEC 2 May 18H for a panel discussion on "The nuclear future of ecology? ". It will seek to demystify nuclear energy and answer essential questions about nuclear safety, the Chernobyl accident, the life of waste and reprocessing, the EPR, the future of the planet, etc.

So should the France "out nuclear power" as advocated by some well or give the atom its place in the energy mix of the future? Is the nuclear threat to the environment or rather the means to preserve it?
