Nobel Peace Prize for Global Warming

The former (former future) American Democratic President Al Gore and the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) have just been awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for having raised awareness about the risks incurred by humanity vis-à-vis climate change.

We can reasonably wonder about what “peace” has to do with global warming, but we welcome this award all the same.
