Measure the regeneration of contaminated soils

Geologists from the University of Jena have obtained funds from the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to optimize methods for measuring the decontamination of polluted soils.
The biological decontamination of slightly polluted soils by means of microorganisms and plants is a particularly economical process. However, it is important to measure its effectiveness. It is for this purpose that the 508.000 euros that the BMBF is making available to Jena researchers will be used.
