Hello!

The lights of day.

It would not be easier to hang light colors in cars, eg white. ?
The white-painted cars are much more visible than cars with the colors darker. In addition, it would save fuel for air conditioning in summer, because it is cooler in a white car in the sun.

very good eco-actions to reduce the consumption of water in that sense I have my dad he stopped washing the car with the hose and it uses tubs and also gave her for Christmas a Dutch Velo that at least he uses when he goes near us and he leaves the car in the garage, it worked although it was difficult to convince many.

Visibility depends mainly contrast and the color difference with respect to the environment ... cars Fashion "Anthracite" has been very detrimental to visibility as they rely too much in the environment ... when to the air conditioning in summer, do not believe it is enough to have a white car to do without, even if it is true that t ° is less strong ...

I read statistics from insurance as what white cars, red, bright blue had fewer accidents ... We see the best (I think also, but it's me who says that the red and blue, it reminds instantly and unconsciously cops and firefighters, which reacted!).

Another form of economy? (Bobo, of money to repair) ...

Post this topic your tips and creative ways you use to reduce your energy consumption at home.

This section is for anything that is not offered in the "Tips" KH.

Goods.

hi Rulian

Switch consumption which may be delayed
on the night tariff (not the water heater ??)

manually: thanks to an LED
you connected on the relay output day / night
in parallel on the water heater

when it comes on is the night tariff
you Demarez maximum gear to enjoy the half \ night tariff

Automatic: (good question)

a civic gesture to unload EDF spikes too high consumption

SixK wrote: A little trick that I had given to consume less, replace its 19 screen "a tube with a lcd not too greedy screen. So we go about 90 Watts 39 Watts (for my Samsung 913N). It remains to see how time can last a lcd compared to a cRT screen and how much energy is required to manufacture the 2 screens, but pure consumption LCD screen is more economic ...

For TV screens, must see the value I have seen for LCD is 55W has 180W depending on the size of the screen.
We remain very close to TV consumption. Sometimes it is even above currieusement. :(
And LCD TV are all the same much more expensive than a tube TVs ...
SixK

hi SixK
Today, these are the LCD displays -> to "LED" <-
consume the least !!
With Best image. (TV and computer)

OLEDs even less, but still too expensive to buy,
(They will be less expensive to manufacture than LCDs)

(The French channels are switched to (Ful) HD 2015
he must wait 5 years or not?)

T ° lower means less consumption since the aircon works less.
In the same kind: why take a glass roof?
- It is heavier than the tin roof
- It's hotter in summer!
2 reasons why burn more fuel! : Frown:
