Hi all,

By reading different docs gleaned on the net, I find enormously to "papers" on sunflower oil as replacing diesel but nothing on rapeseed oil.

The efficiency-it is less? More difficult to implement? Not viable? Not studied enough?

Allegedly linked to the rapeseed oil used as biofuel? (In French or English)

Thank you and +

Hello
for sunflower oil found 2 a3% loss is diet high
c is to say 3 a4 km / ha background
parcontre I saw I no longer know or that tests on Colsa
we were done on tractors
the results of 100 1 year are machines
half does not work anymore
30% it had serious failures
So 20% still works
figures are
be aware also that many energy demand Colsa
for manufacture of oil parcontre just need a press for the sunflower oil

Thank you for the answer, you confirm just what I thought and what they expressed to me: Rather use sunflower.

For information, the kg of colza is paid between 0,23 € and 0,26 € (this year's price in the east of France) the yields oscillate between 25 and 40 quintals / hectare (35 on average) and, for 1 liter of oil, it takes between 1,5 kg and 1,7kg of rapeseed. I specify that these figures may vary depending on the year.

Again thank you and sorry for the response temsp: unsure:

Bonjour,

It's fine all this, but no serious study, and no statistics about engine reliability .............

It would be boring to have more testimonials after modification ....

Personally, not having the means to change engine, or to deal with major repairs, roll with vegetable oil remains utopian for me ....

My dream is to change my car with a PANTONE GEET and use fuel HBV.

As stated ANPR, the result on 100 equipped tractors is rather discouraging and I fear that few people take the risk of changing fuel without being certain of the reliability in time ...

...........................................

All steps in the direction of getting things must be shared .... it's a matter of conscience ....
So all information about changing should be known as many ....
Somewhat in the style Quanthomme site with the GEET.

Good evening,
to try to answer the question of having testimonials from users of HVB
, There is a site that is:
http://www.oliomobile.org/forum/
on plant fuel.
I did not see this link on econology, but there must be a long time I guess: huh: and
it is in this case just a reminder ...
and of course with the Pantone ... :P

From what I can read, rape is not really developed yet, Lapi give us more specifics about it ... As against the results look better for sunflower. Unfortunately I have no recent figures for the latter, my region producing more than sunflower Rape: huh:

As for Pantone, I ca test this summer with an old tractor. ;)

Hi, I'm new here, I tried to ride with 5 liters of rapeseed oil in 20 liter of GO and just to smell it's worth it, it stinks less.
I think it can work well but mixed in GO, pure oil that's another story, SVO is much more viscous, some injection pumps can not stand, especially since it often takes surtarer injectors about 30 bar for the HVB burned many or increased pump overload.
Finally it is only my opinion, some run on pure HVB again but with a lot of mods on the engine and the fuel supply circuit but with BOSCH injection, these are the only pumps that have the air to withstand the overload.

That is not much, but months of stench is already not so bad, right?
