Hello friends, hello Pascal,

The Salers cow has the advantage of being a mixed breed milk / meat, nevertheless rather typical meat.

Milk it produces is very rich, but smaller in volume than dairy "Holstein" or "Montbelliardes".

Raising my cousin said, "nursing system", that cows are not milked by humans, but only by their calves. He chose to make purebred. Lorqu'on wants maximum meat, crossing with a Charolais bull is one of the best choices because salers has one of the best skills at calving.

Whether purebred or crossbred, this produces heavy calves only grass and milk of Salers mothers.

Cows are selected here for their quality of growth, and peaceful character of their mass / muscle balance.

In fact, there's good !!

hello, being also the Auvergne, I just tell you that the cheese made with milk from this cow is a real treat, Salers.

meat and I do not even speak so it is succulent.

just what we I was down motorcycle in Auvergne and I make myself popping the belly meat and cheese.
