Energy: few will compete operators

Only a handful of communities organized tenders for the supply of gas and electricity, two markets open to competition since July 1er 2004. Almost all client remains in effect EDF and GDF, as permitted by law. The regulated tariffs charged by incumbents are so far more interesting than the market price. But they do not reflect the real cost of energy and constitute a distortion of competition, said the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), which advocates for their eventual disappearance.
