The Karlsruhe Specialized Information Center FIZ (Fachinformationszentrum) has been offering a wide range of information in the energy field for many years and in various forms (print, internet or other media). As such, he has just published his new CD-ROM "Energy Efficiency" which offers advice on saving energy as well as various information in the field of energy.

Topics covered include:
- a database on energy efficiency (around 30.800
documents) associated with 1200 reports on research projects and 120 reports
of the BINE information service
- complete texts from the BINE information service on the theme of efficiency
energetics
- internet link on a search engine "Energy efficiency"
- different national and international links on the same theme
- FISKUS database: means of promoting renewable energies and
energy savings (updated every two weeks)
- forum internet "Innovative energy projects" with the possibility of
search for pilot or demonstration projects (170 projects)

The CD-ROM is available at a price of 68 euros (plus 3 euros for postage). The FIZ also offers other CD-ROMs on the following topics: geothermal energy, solar energy, wind energy, fuel cells, heat pumps, photovoltaics and fossil fuels.
