The news fell last night, while Kuwait is hit by the drop in production at its main site, Burgan.
It is the second most important site after Ghawar in Saudi Arabia. The production in the Middle East is therefore this time really low and this in a very official way.
Production is 1,7 million barrels / day when it should be 2 million. Large investments will be necessary in 2006 to try to meet demand as well as possible.
More information (in English, unfortunately, because I doubt that we talk too much about it at 13 p.m. on TF1) on the website of BLADE
