100 ranked most sustainable companies

After the publication at the World Economic Forum in Davos the Index Of Environmental Sustainability which measures general environmental performance achieved by 142 countries to ensure the sustainability of the environment is in Davos that was launched on the initiative of corporate Knights and directed by Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, the global 100, 100 world ranking of the most sustainable companies.

The results of such studies are always subject subjected to the same debate: grabbing the concept of sustainable development or real continuous improvement?

Indeed, the ranking established based on 2000 firm incorporates sixty criteria. 32 100 companies come from the United Kingdom and four are French: Lafarge, Danone, STMicroelectronics and Arcelor.

Toyota (car manufacturer), Alcoa (mining) and BP (oil) are the three companies in the ranking of most sustainable companies.
