According to the latest edition of the study "Survey of Sustainability Experts", climate change and energy are high on the agenda of world experts. And Energy takes the lead of the least sectors 'sustainable'. This study, conducted every two years by Globscan, questions 3.000 "experts" from all sectors (ministers, governments, journalists, academics, business representatives and NGOs ...), mainly in the OECD countries. This year, the authors of the study expected to see items related to sustainable development reach the top concern, 84% of respondents cited climate change among the dominant issues in the coming years, renewable energy monitoring (77%), saving energy (76%). The CSR then comes up with 67%, before the effects of pollution on human health (53%) and drinking water (52%). When asked about the main drivers of corporate action in the field of sustainable development, these experts put economic instruments in the lead (69%) but regulation is a significant breakthrough (from 39 62% to% of responses between 1999 and the latest study). The "green consumption" is mentioned by only 51% of the experts.
