The tanks will be sown buried but covered with soil all the same.

So the lifting height is 2 meters maximum.

Regarding the bathroom. It is also a problem except that I want hot water coming out of the sink and the shower. If I can do without an electric pump I take! Even if it means putting a "lifting" tank in the bathroom.
There will of course be an electrical production installation, but I want to be able to shower even if I run out of juice in the batteries.

I had thought of passive solar water heaters elsewhere.

when you don't waste water you don't wash your hands under flowing water! we filled a bowl

Ben your basin of 2 liters of water it consumes more float than opening the water in the mixer tap wet your hands and the soap close the water soaping rub your hands brush and co reopen the elbow the tap and rinse your hands ...

I have a tap in my workshop without evacuation the 10 liter sceu which is below I empty it once a month in general ... and again I have a simple screw tap which takes time to be closed .. .
When I reorganize my workshop there will be a pedal valve or knee-operated as in the food industry ...

Good evening, here is a fairly large diaphragm pump
http://www.pearl.fr/bricolage-et-jardin ... X5028.html

that reminds me of another subject https://www.econologie.com/forums/montage-d- ... t6556.html

Several types of pumps are mentioned, you can say that the pump specialists are the

some of you should have expected : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

oli wrote:of the basin with the objective of washing your hands at your sink, is to fill it once, pour the cleaning solution for your hands into it, and use it several times.
Personal is that I already do, and I use as a solution a mixture of Marseille soap, vinegar / lemon.
I change the water when it is really dirty and if not every day.

I do the same outside, because I have no water supply yet, except that I use a wood ash paste. I get it all, I know 8)

And for the bathroom, it is hand washing after going to the toilet in a "conventional" way.

Yes thank you for this link!
So in any case, whatever my pump, installation will be possible provided that the lifting is not too important.

What about the possible use of a filter to be able to consume this rainwater?
Because I plan to wash, prepare my food etc ...
I don't care if it is drinkable, because I already use a portable filter that works very well for this.

the perl pump looks good

its pressure is a little limited because it is quite light in construction ... but the principle of the diaphragm pump allows you to build what you want and pump up to the limit of atmospheric pressure

For me..Pearl diffusion..Never again ... but hey it is my personal opinion .... It is better to chopper an old japy on lbc (but it is necessary that it has only pumped water ...) that chinoiseries .. (that says marine pumps..I know where they are made) ..

the pearl diaphragm pump has a clearly visible defect in the photo: molded rubber diaphragm of complicated shape: therefore impossible to redo yourself even if the original one wears out too quickly ... and the cheap stuff often in rubber Chinese that doesn't last long

when I make a diaphragm pump, the diaphragm is cut from flat rubber, and fixed by clamping between screwed pieces: it is therefore possible to use air chamber rubber for the smallest model ... for the large model thicker rubber is needed

the inner tube rubber is the best quality in terms of durability

there is also EPDM rubber for roofs or pools: very durable with aging, but a little less elastic

What do you mean by exploration?

Personally, the pearl I would prefer to do without. If I can make a French company work, for my ram pump I switched to a Walton hydraulic ram, French brand and the quality is there. So I confess that I preferred to stay on this kind of product range for my pump ^^
