may be a solution before winter is over ....
run a coil of heated water through your heating system - a common rubber hose -
or if you have a nearby stream or source you pass it through this pipe; it will bring enough calories to avoid freezing without dirtying your tank

good evening, an aquarium bubbler could perhaps do the trick, as it does not consume much, the eddies in the water should prevent it from freezing
