hi I found that on econology, on the part of toto65, but I thought I remember a sketch of chatelot16? maybe i laugh ...

the system would be this:
Image

the tank that we see is the volume corresponding to the washing of the roof, as long as it is not filled the water falls into it by gravity, as soon as it is filled the ball plugs the orifice and the water goes through the pipe at the top right to the final tank.

but ... you have to empty it every time, so it's not very practical either.

the PVC solenoid valve system must be efficient, waterproof and expensive, but how can it be connected to water detection? there must be electronic detectors or kits to be installed, such as at conrad.fr etc ...

is there a simple and functional system ?!
I do not think I have seen such a system, unless it can be replaced by:
> good pre-filtration before entering the tank
> a settling tank at the tank inlet

as long as we do not try to make this water drinkable I think that the problem remains negligible ...
