Free software for calculation of a solar installation

by Christophe » 01/05/07, 11:40

During my solar research, I came across 2 free sizing software for solar installation.

A) SimSol free downloadable software (16,9 Mo anyway the beast)

A SIMULATOR OF THE THERMAL PERFORMANCE OF SOLAR FACILITIES

Source: http://software.cstb.fr/soft/present.as ... rimer=&cd=

B) Tecsol's SOLO method directly online

Solar dimensioning calculation method directly online

This software is extra

Edited by the Ademe and the CSTB, it gathers the last computation notes

It also incorporates French weather data over the last few years

I used it today for a study that just happened to me

But be careful, you have to master the data; the software will not tell you if the additional power is sufficient, it must be calculated the "old" way

On the other hand the final report and the graphs on the consumptions as well as the quantity of CO2 saved are superb

This document serves to support a request for financial support of the installation by the ademe under the guarantee of profit contract.

Unearthing subject!

a) I will try to simulate our solar installation but not easy ... the simulator does not like too much self construction :(

b) Maloche it was with Simsol that you drew the beautiful curves of this subject: https://www.econologie.com/forums/une-maison ... t5233.html ?

Yes, it's good with Simsol :D

great software, quite technical, do not leave anything to chance

Damn, I still have not made your balance sheet, I'm still at work at the office ... leave me a few days to get rid of my corpses :?

I just discovered Transol 3.0 from CSTB!

The TRANSOL 3.0 software is a predictive tool for the thermal performance of solar hot water and solar air conditioning systems for the individual, the collective and the tertiary sector.

By cons it is not free! As it is the same editor that Simsol I think it must be much more powerful (well I hope for those who buy it!)

Hey there are still the prices in French Francs ... cowardice, it's "scary"! : Cheesy:
