Pluzz.fr website VOD 7 days France Television

by Christophe » 05/07/10, 15:03

In the same perspective as arte + 7 (but apparently in much "more better") which we had spoken here almost 3 years ago: https://www.econologie.com/forums/arte-vod-p ... t4048.html , France Télévision launches its streaming of, at first sight, ALL its programs!

I do not think movies will be available but maybe some TV movies? In any case some series will be (+ beautiful life) ...

In any case, it is especially interesting for emissions or econological debate that would have missed!

Only big downside (while waiting to test in more detail), the name a little "sucks" Pluzz (hu?).

To test http://www.pluzz.fr

2ieme big flat:

Why can I access videos only in France?

This service is reserved for the French territory (except special operations) for questions of retransmission rights. We are currently working on the purchase of rights to expand the availability of this product to other countries.

Too bad for expatriates ... as for Arte + 7, I do not understand this policy well: the net is international ... and pubs are targeted more on the language than on the territory ...

The problem is not so much with ads as with content:
The ads pay the channel, so it would certainly be happy to offer the service abroad.
BUT, the producer of the film or the show, he is paid a flat rate, for a given country. So he sells the film for broadcast in France at a certain price. And if you want to broadcast it in Belgium, you have to pay extra. Thing that the chain is obviously not, since it would require paying much more for a few peeled (sorry Christophe : Cheesy: )

a public proxy is simple

http://www.publicproxyservers.com/proxy ... ntry1.html

to choose a French server in our case

type "google.fr" or .be ^^

then navigate as usual

Warning: this is a public proxy, you should never go to sites where you need to login or buy via card
you never know who is behind

so for streaming or navigate bypassing admin blocks yes but for the rest you are warned :)

for info thanks to here at work I can bypass the blocking of some site (pmu, ad, ...) my colleagues are taped (but between us it's not complicated ^^)
but the interest remains moderate because the flow is clearly reduced and the risks are there

try to have an updated anti-virus

after if not to really be on the block on the anonymity and subtleties of the IP a nice site

Another big problem:
The France Télécision public service does NOT work on Ubuntu linux.
Bravo public service mission that works only for the owner of such and such stuff ...

Fortunately, a nice bearded man has published a script to read the videos in VLC anyway. It's over there :
http://blog.rom1v.com/2010/07/pluzz-fr- ... n-lisible/

I tested, it works with thunder. Except maybe if the video is DRMise.

Thank you Ruru for the info! It works flawless except that I have a forbidden, of course, on the mms: // ... because of my IP.

code: Select all

[00000301] access_mms access error: failed to open a connection (tcp)
[00000301] access_mms access error: cannot connect to server
[00000301] access_mms access error: cannot read data
[00000301] access_mms access error: error: HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request
[00000301] access_mms access error: cannot start stream

Well, it's more than I can run buntu under a proxy fr.

ps: so not too bad at the skull last Sunday? I wanted to send you an SMS but I did not dare : Cheesy:

Simpler and more reliable for Linux, a small "greasemonkey" script created by 'Camille' quoted by the essential Korben:
