Monsanto in the red, the beginning of the end?

Austerity treatment at Monsanto

Difficult pass

Monsanto is currently going through a difficult period, due to the fall in the prices of agricultural raw materials and the appreciation of the dollar, which makes its products expensive for farmers in emerging countries.

It posted a net loss of $ 253 million (235 million euros) in the first quarter and recorded a 13,7% drop in sales of transgenic seeds, its main source of income.

This is not where we will complain about them, huh !! Monsanto is a business of crooks (of respect) of life!

1000 jobs lost out of 21 ... It's already good, but we are far from the mark!

We will not cry, however, Monsanto or not, there are a myriad of companies working in the field of biotechnology, and it now seems almost utopian to envisage a world without GMOs ...

In a few decades we should see the first GM human beings, a fortiori since the discovery and almost banal use of the CRISPR-Cas9.
We should also see new forms of life appear ...

And are you happy?

Of these 1000 jobs cut, how many are guilty of what you blame them for, and how many have not had the choice to accept this to support a family?

But basically I agree ...

Trying too hard to get into the mold, it ends up looking like a pie.
