Winter 2013 / 2014, the coldest for a century?

by hic » 07/10/13, 19:03

Winter 2013/2014 will be the coldest in the last 100 years

On the road to a winter of death?

One of the meteorologists behind this information, the German Dominik Jung, spoke on Twitter and also says that it is impossible, for the moment, to know if this winter will be the most horrible for 100 years . But he maintains that the winter of 2013/2014 will likely be "extremely freezing". “Personally, I think it will be less cold this winter,” says Marc Vandiepenbeeck.

It is Dominik jung who is undoubtedly right.

It is still quite likely that one of these "experts" is right ...:D

This is the point of resemblance between experts and clairvoyants, astrologers of all stripes: on the quantity of different opinions, it is very rare that a few do not end up being right!

Do not tell me that, I will feel obliged to store a little more! :D

Still would have to convince effectively for it to be a Barnum effect!

It is all the same

Larousse wrote:- predict vt: Announce in advance what must happen, by intuition, reasoning or ...

Between intuition and probability, we are only sure of one thing: that one is not more certain than the other. :D

Besides, did you know that 100% of the statistics are false? : Cheesy:

And so I plus all the opinions cited above. 8)
