Plastic Planet: we are all "addicted" to plastic

by Christophe » 01/04/11, 11:03

All sectors of the global industry today depend, in one way or another, on plastic. In the form of a trip around the world, the documentary filmmaker Werner Boote makes us discover its impact on our body, our civilization, our earth. This film, based on long research, brings to light a little-known reality and gives food for thought about this danger that surrounds us, a direct consequence of our overconsumption.

Release scheduled for April 6, 2011.

Read also and see the documentaries presented here (because the plastic planet film, seen the news and BA, seems to me to be quite light in the sense that it is mainly focused on waste and plastic consumption, not on health aspects) : https://www.econologie.com/forums/le-plastiq ... 10117.html

Taste of bisphenol or phthalate?

But since you give me the perch why only your fish? Many fish would be contaminated, as much as birds and many other animals who confuse plastic and food. Many die by the thousands. Not to mention endocrine disruption ... And alas: it's not an April Fool ... :x

Film to see, that's for sure ...

To see yes but not sure that it brings so much more than what has already been said in the 2 reports of the other "plastic subject": https://www.econologie.com/forums/le-plastiq ... 10117.html

I react to this article to share with you a very interesting initiative. The film Plastic Planet is a co-production on the touscoprod website. In exchange for financial support, Internet users have access to advantages (such as invitations to previews, free films, VoD ...). I find the concept really nice and in addition this film really deserves to be supported in order to be seen by as many people as possible. http://www.touscoprod.com/pages/projet/ ... ?s_id=5175

I don't understand: a film must be produced before it is produced not after, right?

So what will the 5000 € of "donations" for a film already finished be used?

1.161€
OF 5.000 MINIMUM OBJECTIVE

Yes it's possible.

But for the promotion, it must already be funded and made since it comes out in France in 2 days ...

As much as I understand the principle of self-production for films of authors as much there on "big" films already carried out (it dates from 2008 in Austria) I do not understand the interest well ...

If the film took more than 2 years before being released, it may be precisely because there were no funds ...
