Tea or coffee? Compared ecological impacts?

by Christophe » 17/09/09, 22:40

Foolish green question: is it better to drink tea or coffee? : Cheesy:

The debate and the bets are open!

I think that tea has a less significant impact ... already because it is not refined ...

lock immediately: it's a hair cut in four: when we are there, we might as well shoot ourselves right away (or come back to hot water time as in Asterix with the Breton people)

Or, mint does not consume energy: it grows like a weed in gardens

Lol locks ... no jve not :)

It's true, we have a superb peppermint base ... which grows in a piece of shitty land where nothing else grows ... but it's not just the mint from our garden that can be used! And mint tea I'm not a fan ...

Christine has already made syrup :)

An interesting alternative to coffee and locally grown is chicory (still need to be verified where "industrial" chicory is grown)

It is first of all a question of health .......... but very difficult to decide:

Personally, I prefer green tea.
