Limestone

If you want to remove the scale at the base of a tap without rubbing like a sick person, try the following:

* Heat in a cup of white vinegar
* Take a paper towel and dip it in hot vinegar
* Surround the faucet base with the damp paper towel
* Leave in place for an hour, then remove the paper towel and finish with the sponge

The limestone goes away on its own without rubbing!
Simple, economical and pollution-free !!

: Arrow: White vinegar is part of my (reduced) arsenal of cleaning products.

It is true that I do not use it hot for taps ... so I rub a little ...

I laugh when I run into anti-limescale ads on TV. : Mrgreen:

Thanks for the tip. I also saw your signature ... : Wink:
