This morning on waking: 10 cm of fresh snow and it is April 7. : Shock:
Last year at same place and on the same date it was 30 ° C ! We are in the Belgian Ardennes near Sedan.

After there are always tocards * who will say that these variations are normal and that it has always existed : Evil:

In any case since I live, are 30 years old, it's a first ...

I stop there the specialists will make much better analysis. In the meantime: recommend fuel oil ... :?

* especially when these tocards have financial interests in not limiting GHG emissions ...

There is snow in Paris too !!! Good 2 - 3 cm on the roof of cars not enough to whip a cat. But still, it's the first time I've had my birthday in the snow!

Well, the snow is not so surprising, but the 30 ° C yes ... to say that the variations are "abnormal" is a little excessive because we must not forget that what triggered the disturbances which led to the revolution of 1789 it is the famine due to a catastrophic cold summer for the harvests (snow in the plain in the middle of summer!), must rather be judged on the averages which clearly indicate a climate change ... which I also note because there is more 40 years old, I remember having had 30cm of snow at Christmas regularly every year ... whereas currently there is sometimes more snow in the Var or in Brittany than in Alsace ....

Ah well all the same! Too bad there is no PARALYZE Paris ... in short to hurt the economy ...

Econology if it does not come positively through our choices then it will impose itself in a negative way and it will be too bad for us ...

"Must not forget", the magic phrase that allows you to always find an antecedent.

Otherwise your example is bad in my opinion for 2 reasons (at least):

1) at the time agricultural yields were much more dependent on the weather because not doped by mechanization and fertilizers or even petroleum ... (running a tractor at -5 ° is easy, plowing with horses 12 hours a day the ground frozen at -5 ° C it is " a little less...)

2) We were not permanently overproductive like now ... so 20% less production was already a disaster ... Today 20% less it affects stock prices but it certainly did not lead to a food crisis and even less a revolution ... in other words: nobody is really worried about agricultural yields.

1) + 2) = I bet when under the same technical conditions, production and food demand, we would currently have, given our weather conditions, regular famines ...
