Hydrogen, an alternative energy in the making?
The use of hydrogen represents today an energy alternative more and more conceivable. The Spanish company HydrogenWorks works to integrate the use of hydrogen into the daily life of Spanish people.
Among the elements that have been under study for a long time in order to replace oil, hydrogen had not been retained as decisive due to the scarcity of its production. However, in recent years, many advances have been made in the production and marketing of hydrogen. Scientific advances such as the reproduction of the photosynthesis process of plants imitating nature, as well as the first installation of a hydrogen station in Zaragoza, show that this assumption is today to be taken into account.
HydrogenWork is a Spanish company whose objective is to market and condition hydrogen in order to reduce the difficulties and risks linked to its transport. This company is dedicated to the manufacture of equipment that generates hydrogen by electrolysis.
According to the company's website, hydrogen can be used as fuel for the engines of recent vehicles, or to power turbines which are used in aviation, or those used in combined cycle power plants which generate electricity. It can be used as fuel for boilers or burners, and can also quickly integrate with the technologies currently used in the production of heat, electricity or transport.
