RES States (Renewable Energies)

This thread is intended to be a summary of what is found in the field.

Rather than scattered around the world forum, let's put here a summary, paths leading to the exit of “Dirty Energies”, with:

- statistics;
- yield;
- storage methods;
- potential;
- Current state;
- new technologies;
- optimization of what exists;

...If you feel like it...

Also, say what you agree to do individually.

According to the video, Biomass = 50% ???

If we take firewood (the vast majority of biomass energy), it must be roughly this at the level of primary energy consumption of humanity ...

The fact is that it is more difficult to count firewood than other energy because it is not systematically traded ...

It is worrying to see organizations like ITEBE currently disappearing: https://www.econologie.com/forums/formations ... t8257.html

Currently, it is around 10% in the global energy mix.

From what source please? It seems to me that the estimates I had in mind were much higher than that but difficult to account for, so there is a lot of uncertainty ...

Counting the wood consumed directly in Africa, China or India (= around 50% of the world population) and which has not been the subject of a commercial transaction, is not obvious ...

Otherwise I believe that the 50% of the film is the objective in fact ... but like all Greenpeace films, the form is often much better than the background ...

You got kicked out of Youtube too: http://energie-climat.greenpeace.fr/vw- ... re-attaque (I also say because my account was also recently deleted for the same reasons of "copyright" ... which remains a notion very subjective on Youtube...) :| :| : Lol:

Well, this thread is not to doubt the merits of the means to get out. Hey hey.

But please list the methods and means that will be necessary: with figures which will in any case always be approximate. Otherwise this thread will go in all directions.

So pb2488: ouout! Because it is above all not a thread to justify the means of continuing to use them. No, but ... : Cheesy:

Concretely, the solar thermal energy received on thermal collectors is sufficient to solve the problem if we really want it !!

Indeed we receive a lot of this solar heat even in France and its essential defect is its intermittence: day night, summer winter, which is easily corrected by storing this heat underground with achievements ranging from the individual, to the collective, and to very large projects with solar concentration and high temperatures.
So the realization that has been walking in Canada for more than 3 years for 52 houses, which recovers summer heat (at 1000m altitude) to heat winter, is a fundamental, real, concrete, functional, operational example for eliminate all "dirty" heating energies and it must be developed and multiplied in France !!
We must also stop criticizing him on subsidiary details, just to manipulate and lose unscientific minds !!
.

https://www.econologie.info/share/partag ... mrk29Z.pdf
discussed:
https://www.econologie.com/forums/post203921.html#203921
and therefore the operation can be followed live on:
http://www.dlsc.ca/how.htm

You can do it almost yourself under the same form of Canadian wells preheated in summer for winter with solar heat totally wasted in summer , as well as collectively (like www.dlsc.ca , less losses if large, because the losses decrease as the surface area to volume ratio, and as well as very large achievement, of the Désertec type, with solar concentrators giving high temperatures, 300 ° C, 500 ° C or even more, for storing underground in a large deep volume (somewhat resembling a volcanic geothermal source, but created by heat concentrated solar)

Le underground storage is much cheaper because land is free on huge volumes and only the holes and pipes for the exchangers make the price, much lower than that in salts or chemicals, even efficient (which, at equal energy, always remain much more than 100 times more voluminous and expensive, than oil, gas , coal, spontaneous form of natural energy storage, unfortunately underground in huge quantities capable of burning all the oxygen in our atmosphere with 100% C02, the result of over 600 million years of carbon deposits underground living beings created by photosynthesis which renews atmospheric oxygen every 200000 years, i.e. over 600 million years, this oxygen has been renewed more than 5x600 = 3000 times, with the creation of as many carbon molecules which even stored at 0,03% underground in oil, gas and coal is enough to burn all the oxygen we breathe and to suffocate us with 100% CO2 !!))

So Desertec, even in Europe with less sun, should store concentrated solar thermal heat underground at medium depth, as a geothermal form renewed by the sun, giving hot and electric energy 24 hours a day without CO24 or nuclear energy !!

With the billions of funds subsidy lost for ITER and nuclear (16 billion) we could develop and do a lot of these projects which definitively and in perpetuity solve the problem of CO2 and major nuclear disasters, inevitable sooner or later, in France which believes itself infallible infinitely better than the Japanese !!
We can even say that France has grazed several times a disaster with the start of nuclear reactor fusion, and does not know how to learn from it this chance which cannot last forever !!

dedeleco, don't you tire yourself out of these "perpetual redundancies"? : Shock:

What tires me is that we never present this efficient solution for renewable energy, Desertec never talks about free underground storage and I never wrote it, which free underground storage at high temperature on a large volume, enabled a concentrated solar Desertec giving 24/24 electricity winter and summer !!

I am very pessimistic, given the difficulty of making econologists understand the physical thermal bases of heat diffusion, that it is the most realistic and effective solution that works, to reproduce, if we do not want repeated nuclear disasters , followed by so much CO2 (there will never be a peak of natural fuels underground before having burned all the oxygen !!!) that we will end up with the level of the oceans rising inexorably endless, without the possibility of stopping it, 10 to 20 times more than currently (2 to 4m per century instead of 20cm) until having melted the Antarctic in 2000 years and 80m of water in more.

This phenomenon occurred spontaneously 13000 years ago, endless inexorable rise in sea level of 120m, without being able to do anything !!

It's not catastrophism, it's a reality, the earth's climate is unstable, as evidenced by a glance, the Earth's temperature curve over 400000 years, over 5 million years (maximum instability in our time), over 60 million, over 1 billion years (several total glaciations even at the equator, and stifling heat 15 ° C at the poles and 45 ° C at the equator, !!

So the sentence:
dedeleco, don't you tire yourself out of these "perpetual redundancies"?

is to say that econology makes fun of the future of its children and its great grandchildren, conditioned by our actions at present, in particular, the speed at which we stop exploding the concentration of C02, doubling, tripling with fossil fuels, even increasing tenfold (because the evolution will become irreversible inexorable, endless), as happened spontaneously, 56 million years ago, with 80m more water, 15 ° C more temperature (poles at 15 ° C, summer and winter) after explosions of huge pockets of underwater gases stable only at zero degrees !!

It is not only a matter of saving candles, but of renewable, efficient, real solutions, without CO2 and nuclear, ensuring our standard of living, which exist, are possible scientifically and technically, for an attractive price with a little imagination.

I insist because I see that it was not understood at all, with no beginning of realization in France, without even the slightest inscription in future subsidized projects !! .

For example anyone with a Canadian well can preheat it in summer and measure their savings in winter, depending on the area of summer thermal solar collectors !!

Terrifying nobody does it !! Even with solar water heater overheating !!

Frightening, also to see those who carry out complicated and very expensive storage, therefore too small, in water balloons, salts, etc. instead of the free earth under our feet, unable to understand that they are complicated life and the wallet !! !!

So I repeat until awareness and achievements everywhere, do well as in www.dlsc.ca !!

At the start of the 10st century, however, it provides around XNUMX% of world energy consumption
