Undoubtedly a good idea but given the difficulty of collecting the marc I frankly doubt that that could succeed
For the collection, assuming that people are motivated, how to spend less energy than the marc has?
It would certainly be much more energy efficient to put it in a composter.
When I see in the trash room of my building how at least 70% of people either do not sort or sort haphazardly so very badly, I tell myself that there is progress to be made elsewhere before taking care of the coffee .
