Consumption of water in a water doping tractor?

by Futuragri03 » 27/04/09, 20:02

Hello everyone!

I just got interested in the pantone engine, but it intrigues me a lot!
Indeed I have several tractor (+/- gulf diesel) and cars, and I would like to adopt this process on almost all the equipment!
But a horrible doubt is a problem: the pantone motor works in principle with 75% water and 25% fuel, if my tracer 90cv has a 200L tank, I would need a huge water tank !!! or do it every half-hour !!!
Please, could someone enlighten me !!!

thank you in advance!

No, water consumption is roughly 1 / 5 fuel consumption (if you consume too much it does not work).

It is therefore necessary to size the water tank with respect to your fuel consumption and to count 1, 2 or 3 day of autonomy.

Example: you consume 10 L per hour on average and you work 4h per day and you want to fill up with water only every 2 days.

So you need a 10 * 4 * 2/5 = 16 L tank ... in short, a "blue" 20L can will go!

Hello Futuragri03

You can tell us a little more about what you want to do, mount, what machine etc ... it will help us better.

Thank you for these reponces!

Christophe: In fact if a simple can of 20 liter sufit ca me very well, I had seen a consomation of water 4x superior to diesel! That's why it scared me a little!

Flytox: I'm not going to take a tour of the equipment park, but I would like to boost a combine harvester (very old), 3 tractor Fendt: 140cv turbo, 90cv and 70cv. A telescopic 12 years.
A R19 that may go to the case (which serves to go to the bottom of the grasslands) and my CLIO 1.9D! HERE IS!!

But I would like to start with the R19, it will not be a big loss!

Yes it will go but do not believe everything he says on the net you know ... : Cry:

The truth (the only) is that water consumption is about 20% of that of GO. It can be 15% or 25% but it will never be 80% or 400% !!

Those who measure 400% should go back to school to learn what a Liter is or it is that their water tank is pierced ... : Mrgreen:

Hello

I have a tank of 4,5 liter of water, on a 300D 125cv I complete the level after 3 hours of road ..

This vehicle consumed before the installation of the reactor, under the best conditions 9 liters 100km to 105 kmh on highway
(although the manufacturer gives more than that, but I take the measurements)

Yesterday (the receiver does not work very well)
For 305 km road and city with several stops
21,5 fuel oil
4,1 water

last fall
For 274 km highway
16,3 fuel oil
3,1 water

Another test last fall
For 353km country road with hill
20,5 fuel oil
6,2 water

Consumption of water is variable the economy is not systematically related to the consumption of water.
So many ratings the consumption of water increases
If driving city water consumption decreases
It varies sometimes I arrive at 35% savings with 1,7 liters of water at 100km and sometimes 32% with 0,9 liters of water at 100km
and since I do tests I can not yet justify these differences ..

Those who consume more water than diesel and who have 50% yield must have a super assembly, I am very far from these values. (never succeeds in exceeding the 35%) The goal in our installations is not to seek to consume as much water as possible, but to seek the best yield.

OK that works! Like what I did well to ask otherwise I grafted a taunneau 200L in the back of the tractor : Shock: !

Would a 5L bubbler do the trick for this tractor, and the cars? There is not much room in a clio !!!

Uh ... Otherwise, I saw some shot of the bubbler, and in some, he speaks of a mixture esu / hydrocarbur inside the bubbler!
Maybe this mixture 25-75 ??
