New for Echo Moteur²

by echo-moteur² » 31/01/08, 18:51

Hello everybody

Here is the probably final version (there may still be changes) of the system that we plan to test as part of our study on the Gillier-Pantone process (or water doping).

http://youtube.com/watch?v=iSe6L3lmIvU
ou
http://youtube.com/watch?v=KL1UJDl49hM

You will find more views (transparent, sectional ...) on our website www.echo-moteur.fr in the Echo-Motor² section - Our achievement.

As previously stated ( https://www.econologie.com/forums/nouveau-projet-echo-moteur-2-mines-de-douai-t4255.html), this system is very strongly inspired by that produced by the association La Pierre Angulaire ( http://lapierreangulaire.free.fr/ ) for the Vitry-sur-Orne town hall. The system produced in May 2007 was mounted on a Citroën C15D.

As a reminder, we have for our study the same engine (XUD7 engine) from a Peugeot 205D. Thus, we hope to obtain performances as promising as those announced in the press kit of the Town Hall ( https://www.econologie.com/vitry-sur-orne-c15-moteur-pantone-dossier-de-presse-telechargement-3403.html ). Of course, the performance of our system will be measured and certified on an engine test bench at the CRITT M2A in Bruay-la-Buissière ( http://www.crittm2a.com/ )

However, some modifications were made to the initial system, following the advice of Alexandre GREGOIRE (La Pierre Angulaire). Given the absence of constraints on the place on the test bench, the assembly was made as linear as possible, favoring the evolution of exhaust gases as well as possible. Thus, we hope to limit the clamping caused by the addition of the system. The other changes are in the design area.

To date, the parts necessary for the design of the system have been ordered. If everything goes as planned, we should start testing week 10 or 11.

As mentioned above, it is still possible to modify this system. So don't hesitate to make all kinds of comments about this system.

PS: We would like to thank the La Pierre Angulaire association, in particular Alexandre GREGOIRE for the help and support he has given us.

Thank you

Well good bubbling and good measures of consumption and kiloWatt !!!

Looking forward to seeing the conclusions. Good continuation.

good evening, I wish you good results !!!
With this assembly it will not be difficult to do better than your predecessors.
A small remark however, to put all the chances on your side, the exhaust chamber which receives the reactor and a tube (of steam?) Is much too large. I will reduce it so as to have the same area of the tube. 'Entrance.
Here is good luck and again success !!!

I saw that the tube next to the reactor is the supply of fresh air.
As much for me.

Hi,

the implementation of the system started this week. Here is a little preview :

As you can see, most of the parts have been machined, some are welded.

The system will be completed late next week.

At your comments!

Hello everyone,

To start, let's make a small point on the progress of the assembly. The GV part was completed today, as well as all the necessary parts.

The final assembly (last welds and welds of the GV in the exhaust manifold) will be finished tomorrow.

A photo of the GV is available on our website (“Prototype tested” section), as is the schedule and the nature of the tests we plan to carry out (“Planned tests” section).

Also note that the first test phase starts this Thursday, March 6. We hope to test the "classic" engine (without adding the system), in order to obtain a comparative basis for the rest of the tests.

On the other hand, we obtained the publication of an article in the newspaper "L'Observateur du Douaisis". This article is also available on our website (“Press” section). However, the article contains some errors ("realization of an echo-engine" ...) and the title is not very scientific ...

See you soon.

Hello,

As some may know, we are participating in Sustainable Development Week. Thus, we will hold a stand and organize a conference on April 4 and 5 at the Lycée Agricole de Douai.

We produced a double-sided brochure briefly describing our project, which we will distribute during this event.

Do not hesitate to make your remarks and comments. Any criticism is welcome.

If we have no new problem, the first tests will have been carried out before this conference. We hope to be able to present them during this one.

PS: We are currently experiencing a problem with the host of our site. This is temporarily unavailable. We apologize.

More info on the Echo Motor ² project!

1) For the site it is difficult to solve, we have deposited a new domain with the team: www.echo-moteur.com which should be available in the next few hours.

2) I wrote a short story about the presence of the Echo Motor team at the 2008 Sustainable Development Week (SDD 2008): https://www.econologie.com/la-semaine-du ... -3755.html

3) I will participate (in "person" with the team of engineering students from the Mines of Douai) in the conference on April 5, 2008 at 10 am within the framework of the SDD 2008:
