Hello,
Not lacking either water or firewood, I want to buy if there is a cogenerator running on wood heating and feeding either a steam engine or a sterling for electricity.
Do you know of small steam engines marketed?
Or stirling adapted to this use?
I need a power of a few kilowatts maximum.
Of course, I don't want to use a diesel group!
Thank you
Simple and efficient cogeneration with wood?

hello, for the small steam engines, you can look at the side of the reduced model steam engines, that will give you maybe some idea, especially if you can tinker a little.

Hey Tigger, speaking of Stirling, how does your Peltier fan work?

it works well, starts on its own, runs alone without electricity or anything else, and in addition diffuses a little air from above the stove in the room, well it's not very powerful.
my impression is that the air in the room and a little better stirred, by cons is not give, 115euro anyway.

Hey you should make it a subject with 2 or 3 photos. Where do you smell the air?
I had a test with our deom (with a real big ventillo) it allowed to gain 1 to 2 ° C (no more) 5 m from the boiler. (I would have thought more) ...

blah, the air you don't really feel it, it is not very powerful in power therm, on the other hand that diffuses the hot air very slowly, especially the hot air which remains "stuck" behind the stove.
therefore very gentle convection.

I know these products, but what surprises me is first the rarity of such a solution and the price!
it's still very old technologies. It would be a great complement to photovoltaics in winter.
In the United States there are a few simple things:

It is a solution of this type that I would like.
