Hello,
The positive: we talk about heat pumps in Les Echos http://www.lesechos.fr/investisseurs/ac ... haleur.htm
The negative: Les Echos explains that the decline in tax credit will scare people. It's pretty lamentable !! Geothermal energy is a clean device that does not disfigure nature (vs wind) and yet we do not help it.
The "worst" is that it remains interesting even with poor credit but hey, psychologically, it doesn't help people

Yes except that:
-Geothermal energy serves to overcome a design defect in the building (lack of insulation, poor orientation, etc.) and that the wind turbine is used to create energy.
-We can't really say that geothermal energy is clean, since it turns either nuclear or thermal, that it increases peaks during very cold weather, that heat transfer fluid is polluting, ....

You will have to explain to me how you power your heat pump without a power plant at the end. And if in your opinion a central does not disfigure ???
I suggest that you be consistent and apply for a nuclear power plant behind your garden fence ... EdF plans to install a few more. GDF-Suez and Total are also thinking about it, I think ... We will talk about it then!
I am always surprised that so many people are for the CAP and against nuclear power plants at home (at 100 k, they are for it!).

Hello
Maybe your home is that electricity is mostly nuclear
but in Quebec the electricity and mainly hydroelectric
Electric heating in our case is the least polluting system and often the most economical
$ 2000 annually in electricity, heating, air conditioning, all-electric lighting. And long winter with -25

Here in Quebec, the geothermal heat pump is the most economical of all the heating modes without counting the purchase.
Besides, I have a scoop for those who think it's polluting, one of my clients who a big refrigeration specialist here in Quebec uses Co2 as a refrigerant and it's more efficient than Freon and can be simply rejected in air without any danger to the environment and is harmless to humans.
I did not create a subject on it because the process is secret and do not have more information to feed a subject.
Perhaps the refrigerant of the Econological future.

Hello,
Yes, my answer was for France and the neighboring countries.
In Canada, the conditions are not the same, so the solutions either.
And you do well to point it out. It is essential to design a house taking into account all the parameters that surround it: climate, mask, lifestyle, local resources, ... and that is why there will never be solutions unique, (what a lot of people in the construction industry and in general do not want (or can) understand).

The problem N ° 1 being to find a well oriented land available.
It is from the plans of subdivision that the municipalities should be concerned: it is necessary to orient the streets east west or to make large plots and generate a specification of urban planning adapted. Hard hard !

The abolition of the tax credit concerns Air-Air installations (including often reversible) and it is only logical that the State does not subsidize the equipment with highly energy-efficient air conditioners !!
It's not normal that it lasted that long!

It is you who says it ... if it was so clean, pkoi every winter for a few years, EDF breaks its peak production record?
Yes, the energy has to be found somewhere.
The only interesting and really clean source would be to combine Xthermia and photovoltaics ... But this combined investment is between 40 and 50 € ... Enormous therefore!
It’s better to put this in the insulation !!
ps: someone explain to me the notion of durability of equipment financed by temporary subsidies?
