Possibility to combine thermal and photovoltaic?

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Possibility to combine thermal and photovoltaic?

by cyril.grenoble » 20/10/09, 11:15

Hello,

Everything is in the post title ...

Today we have photovoltaic panels and thermal systems.

To make cogeneration, does not exist a system allowing in the same receiver to manufacture heat and electricity?

Is there an incompatibility to be able to combine the two?

Goods.

No incompatibility and it already exists recently.

It's called solar PVT panels: https://www.econologie.com/forums/solaire-hy ... t7723.html

PVT = Photo-Voltaic-Thermal

Announced Performance: 140 Wc Electric + 650 Thermal Wc

A little worse for the thermal so that a classic panel. I do not know if already eligible for help for PV ... In my opinion no.

Hello,

on the other hand we still do not have an idea of the price at m2?

No but as there are resellers, just call them ... who sticks? :)

I think it cheaper than the power equivalent in 2 independent panels ... well I hope ...

Here is a test and performance of a water PVT sensor made by the Institute for Solar Energy Research GmbH https://www.econologie.com/capteur-solai ... -4293.html
