Exchanger length, thermosiphon

by zaina » 24/05/09, 23:47

Hello

does the .xls spreadsheet intended to calculate the length of the solar exchanger also correspond to the case of thermosiphon if yes the coefficient of performance k should not exceed 10w / m2. ° C (natural convection). is not it?
please answer me because i'm about to explode :x

thank you in advance

I think you are talking about this file: https://www.econologie.com/calcul-d-un-e ... -3914.html

?

If yes it is general enough to do any heat exchange calculation and therefore nothing prevents you from changing the K.

But 10 W / m². ° C is very low: are you sure of this value?

Here is a complete method to calculate a thermosyphon installation
