Cerf wind wheel

I found this on the net what do you think?

http://www.ubergizmo.com/fr/archives/20 ... eolien.php

I do not understand how it works:

I find the idea interesting and I wonder if we could not make individual and why replace the kite with a captive balloon inflated with helium or hydrogen.

The main idea is that the structure of the machine that is in the air changes depending on whether it goes up or down.

It increases its lift, so it rises and pulls on a cable that drives a generator.

When it reaches the end of the cable, the structure is modified to reduce its lift and the cable is wound with a low effort compared to that generated during the climb.

the difference between the energy required to draw and that generated during the climb is recovered.

nice on paper but hello implementation.

how do we start?
how do we manage wind direction changes?
how do we land in case of lack of wind?
etc, etc.

This is why it will remain a "beautiful principle" ...

In spite of your sarcasm I am convinced that the idea brainstorming, balloon, or glider has a huge potential actually remains to exploit it. The winds at altitude being stronger and more regular.

Hello

for the first 2 questions, everything is fine there is wind.

for the third, the problem does not arise, there is more wind, so it's the crash, a possibility not really considered.

On the videos there is a winch that brings the craft, on a glider or an airplane there are shutters that can correct the altitude and direction. A balloon does not need wind to stay in the air. This reminds me of the Cea engineers who did not care when I told them about the Pantone 5 years ago!

as I am bad computer I do not even know how to make a quote but I love to connect:

the difference between the energy required to draw and that generated during the climb is recovered.

Of course it is difficult to fly an iron eg a fighter! I do not tell you the focus! yena even who made nuclear reactors and next to me there is a bunch of morons trying to make ITER reproduce the sun on earth anything.
