TPE solar energy

by Charlotte Lilly » 25/10/07, 17:40

Hello
I do a physical tpe svt and we have solar energy as a subject. the problem would be: is solar energy a good alternative to fossil fuels?
my problem is simply to find svt. at the beginning I had thought of the ecological effects but I cannot find any information that could be useful ...
if anyone could help me ...

Hello Charlotte
I also do a tpe on renewable energies
and I think you should talk about the manufacture of solar panels for example for which we pollute a lot

you could see if the energy lost during the manufacture of solar panels is profitable compared to its lifespan
I hope I helped you

good, I found all alone like a big one: Life and Earth Sciences.

How about talking about the challenges of renewable energies (in this case solar energy)? it's at the heart of your subject and it's good svt, right?

Hello

Solar energy can be reflected in many ways on our good old planet.
In addition to photovoltaic panels or thermal panels, inventions of men, there is a basic and yet essential form of the transformation of this providential energy coming from the sky
This is photosynthesis.
What a brilliant process that nature offers us and which, through the reorganization of carbon in cellulose, allows us to store a part of free energy
Fossil energies come from this natural process and man is simply releasing millions of years of photosynthetic build-up, not caring (until not too long ago) of the consequences
After all, fossil fuels are renewable, but not on the scale of a human lifetime.
This is the problem

Good reflection
