Hello,
I'm looking for info on heat pumps, I just got a house that has a well (about 5-6 m deep) with water even in summer. Being under renovation, the question of heating arises and I wanted to know if it was possible to use this well for geothermal energy.
I was thinking of installing a heat pump with a closed loop system that would pass through this well ... Can someone tell me if it is possible?
We look forward to seeing you!

Meuh nan Zac what a bad language!
EdF is saying it, it must be fair, right?
Good without laughing you will find a lot of information on the PAC on these pages:
ecqstruction-hqe / a-false-notice-on-heat-pumps-and-fridges-machines-t2245.html
Do not hesitate to use the search engine: search.php

Hello
Yes it is doable but some rule to observe
first two wells quite distant 10metres, then it must provide a water flow of 25 to 32 liters per minute it makes on average 12 c it is cooled to 5c in heating and that provided for a house with a harsh climate Quebec
To use it in air conditioning it will become very problematic, it consumes little water in air conditioning, but the water outlet must be controlled around 35c to 38c, at these temperatures returning the water to a well poses problems
algae and bacteria is not treated water.
it is necessary to return this water to the surface for which it cools and to infiltrate into the ground if the nature of the ground is sandy.
we summarized returning cold water no problem but hot in another well many problems I gave up this idea for air conditioning, and made an exchanger for 'domestic water and the little hot water remaining I return it in area ..
In my case the amount of water in the earth is huge, it's just the 1 hp pump which limits me.

Anabel2, you say that it is possible to find useful information on the site that you mention ... or, on the subject which occupies us here (PAC), here is a sentence which I note:
Admit that, as relevant information, it is possible to do better!
... the delivery well generally located at a depth of 25 to 150 meters is responsible for returning the heat transmitted to the heating system in the ground.
Admit that, as relevant information, it is possible to do better!
