Black600 wind turbine: burnt br3 box

by ben4472 » 22/07/14, 19:47

Hello everyone,

I took a look at a black600 whose blades no longer rotate. I don't know much about it but I found it:
Three components of the br3 case were exposed.

Can someone tell me what these components are and if it is possible to repair?

Thank you in advance.
PS: this wind turbine is not mine, but a person who has been robbed by a dishonest company. I would say they set up the hardware without configuring anything.

Hi,

Nobody answered my call for help ... snif
It is true that I may not have given enough details.

I am trying to find out what may be the 3 components that exploded located at the top of the photo in the white circles.
Next to each circle it is noted RT1, RT2 and RT3

Does anyone know what these components are? Is it worth it to buy them back and replace them on the card?

I tried to find the electronic chema of the box to answer my question myself but I found nothing ...

Thank you very much.

Hi ben

I came across your subject ...

So I get the impression that these are NTC thermistors

because they are resistors "negative temperature coefficient". I explain how it works here for my CATHI (video from 50 seconds)

intended to avoid current peaks during switching (cold thermistor = high resistance = little current, then heating, resistance drop, stronger current).

But if poorly controlled, these thermistors give off a Joule effect capable of causing them to melt ... Personally, I shunt them with a 2nd switch to be quiet.

If my diagnosis is correct, replacing them may not solve the problem ... and still it would be necessary to find a reference on the molten plastic. :?

And if they have melted, it's a safe bet that other components have cleared with them.
