... taken from a paramotor: http://www.volez.be/photos.htm
198 m high !!

I did not even know that we had wind power above 3MW non-offshore!

It's beautiful technology!

There are 5 series of photos (5 steps) to see here: http://www.volez.be/photos.htm

For more information the manufacturer:

http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enercon#E-126
Due to its size and production capacity, the German manufacturer Enercon's E-126 model is the largest and most powerful wind turbine in the world.
With a nominal power of 6 MW initially, now from 7,58 MW, the E-126 is the most powerful wind turbine in the world. Its mast is 132 m and its rotor measures 126 m in diameter, which gives it a total height of 198 m (for comparison, the Montparnasse Tower is 210 m).

135m high pylon and radius 63m blades !!!

beautiful windmill for Don Quichotte !!!!

What happens if a blade breaks within 300m of the wind turbine ??
But it's much better than a Chernobyl !!
We're going to end up with bigger wind turbines than the Eiffel Tower ????

France has left Germany with this technology with more future than nuclear and its specter of another Chernobyl almost certain sooner or later!

We will end up wind turbines of this size kite 10000m altitude!

In France jobs:

From internal source, Enercon plans to make an even bigger one of 7.5 MW .... 10 m diameter of alternator nacelle ...

This one must be 7-8m of diameter seen the 1ere photo ... 7

Other pictures:

A windmill field located in Villemeux (27) these wind turbines are visible from Dreux (28) and part of its surroundings.
