An octagonal passive house in straw bales
Hello,
I am building an octagonal passive house, wood frame with straw bale filling, with lime plaster.
The house has a large triple-glazed canopy to the south (with an exterior solar shading curtain), and no heating is planned. On the other hand, there will be a double-flow CMV, a Canadian well, and 40-45 cm of cellulose wadding on the roof.
I describe my project on the following site (not 100% up to date ...):

Hi and welcome here!
Your site is really very complete and really clear ... bravo for your initiative of this choice of construction.
By cons, despite the time I spent on it I did not find a gallery of work in progress. I have searched badly or there is none?
ps: the image is not displayed as a direct link, surely the "~" or a restriction on your side? Anyway, I put it on our server ...

Ok this would be welcome.
Otherwise on the layout plan of the networks on this page:
http://alysse.dyndns.org/~thomas/2006_p ... ?article87
Do we see a GDF cable? Is it ok to do that since you have no heating? Just for the cook? It would not have been easier to take bottles?
What is it?

hello johnix,
in new construction, why did not you retain the insulation in straw bales, easy to achieve in renovation?
I give links:

Pfff but stop criticizing! I think he did not take the straw for the roof for specific reasons.
By the way, Jonule, what kind of housing do you live in?

Christophe, I tell you that it's the opposite of a negative criticism that I'm doing ...
But maybe it's not me that you answer
Kiss
