Mutual Aid and Fraternity: supporting small farmers in the South

by Christophe » 08/03/12, 20:18

Mutual and Fraternity is a Belgian NGO for international cooperation whose goal is to help small farmers in developing countries (Latin America, Africa, Asia ...) by supporting specific local projects (example: install solar pumps in Africa ).

The 2012 Campaign more specifically Nicaragua and Guatemala.

They have just launched a small site: http://www.stopauxinegalites.be/ where each member can help stop harvesters.

Today, 1 in 7 people suffer from hunger. While we are producing enough food to feed the world's population. Paradoxically, it is mainly the peasants who suffer from hunger. Many of them are doomed to ruin and starvation because of the liberalization of trade. Support for family farming is essential to ensure the right to food and food sovereignty. Entraide & Fraternité works alongside many local associations to support small farmers.

Protest against the inequalities that threaten the lives of small farmers and their families. Click on "PARTICIPATE" to block the road to this form of agriculture and relay the information to your friends.

The scene is supposed to recall the famous scene of Tian'anmen Square:

Small game: the one who finds charly (uh bibi) in less than 1 minutes will have won ... all my esteem : Cheesy:
