Water consumption: a camper = 2 inhabitants?

The useful capacity of individual household wastewater treatment systems is determined according to the number of population equivalent (PE) of the dwelling or group of dwellings served by the system. It is at least 5 PE.
For single-family dwellings that generate only domestic wastewater, the pollutant load produced daily is considered to be expressed by a number of population equivalent equal to the number of occupants. If several dwellings are connected to the same treatment system, the pollutant load is counted on a minimum number of 4 PE per dwelling.

I wonder about this high consumption of water to treat for camping ... Anyone have an idea? (probably Bucheron when he returns ...)

I am really very skeptical of the results of this study ...
On the EH, you can say what you want ... It is not very detailed!
