Pump pulsar jetly 50 / 80 mono HS capacitor

by olivier.diez@yahoo.fr » 28/07/15, 16:43

Hello ,
I have a jetly pulsar 50/80 submersible pump in mono, the condenser of this pump is HS.
However I do not know how to dismantle this pump to change the capacitor?
jetly's after-sales service asks me for an exorbitant sum to change it
Could you help me to dismantle this pump?
Thanking you

Welcome here.

Normally a capacitor (starting or operating) is easily accessible?

Do you have pictures of the electrical box?

Edit: ah yes it is a submersible pump so not so easy ... we would have to find the manual.

Here is the manual, finally the technical datasheet: https://www.econologie.info/share/partag ... mtLhY2.pdf

We see a section of the pump:

The operating capacitor is at the very top.

You have to manage to get everything out of the stainless steel shirt numbered 77, i.e. to slide everything down (it's obviously one piece) and after that will be quite easy I think ...

Yes it looks like there is a crimp from the photos I saw on the net but they are not detailed enough ...

Can you send us some detailed photos of your pump?

Up, down, rated?

Maybe that's why it costs a fortune to open and close ...

Maybe yes ... which would mean that the stainless steel shell should be changed each time it is opened?

How much is the repair in fact?
