Pump runs very often ...

by Aurelmouth » 09/10/11, 19:47

Hello everybody

I have a borehole of around 60m with the pump at 35m I think.

At the end of the drilling, non-return valve.

In the house, 500l booster pump with mano. The pump starts at around 2,5 bar and stops a little before 4 bar.

For a few days, the pressure in the booster has been lowering without me using water. Ditto if I close the house water supply (so no leaks after the booster).

The mano goes down, the pump starts up and the mano goes up very quickly to 4 bars.

A plumber comes to see and nothing more to report. The next day it starts again ...

Do you have any ideas for finding and solving this problem?

Thank you

Hi Aurelmouth
A plumber comes to see and nothing more to report

the plumber has donations of reboouteux, healer or shaman !!

Unless he has re-inflated the booster balloon, which leaks through the porous or pierced membrane, its air in the water used !!!!

Common failure for boilers every few years with membranes designed to provide work for plumbers installers !!! !!

No no no mess with the plumber. It was a friend of mine who came and he didn't touch anything. He just found ...

My wife was there too and RAS.

The booster is galvanized and 2 years old.

I do not know the model of the pump. But do they all have a check valve?

Because if it is the check valve at the top of the borehole that no longer works, that of the pump should take over, right?

If it is a galva balloon .... there is just to empty it of its water and to make an air intake in the upper part, I do it every 2 months ....
The air is in the water :x There is no : Evil:

The membrane of the MAMO balloon is also dead and the air is blocked !!!!

One solution: change the membrane or the balloon, or re-inflate repeatedly !!!!

The plumber's friend had to put some air back in, just for the day, turning on taps for a short time ???? like MAMO made longer ?????

There should be a check valve at the strainer, right? This one can be replaced.

+1 non-return valve.
No, no pump is originally fitted with this type of valve.

Unless I am mistaken, there is no membrane in this galva booster.

What is surprising is that this happens irregularly. For example at the moment the mano decreases but it is very slow while at other times it is faster.

Regarding the non-return valves, it can work "halfway" or is it either ok or it is dead?

I can't find the invoice so I don't know if the valve is at the pump.

If all the pumps do not have one, does that mean that if I only change the valve at the drilling outlet, can that be enough? And so that the column can be emptied without it being a problem?

I ask all these questions because the column is galvanized and I do not have the gear to take out the pump so if I can avoid ...

If the valve is sealed and the pump remains in the water, the column cannot empty.
