Profitability of a hydrophore group - booster

Hello,
Question from my wife .. :?
Say, my friend, you have an electronically controlled group, without a buffer tank.
Each time I turn on the tap, even for 1/2 liter of water, the group starts.
She said to me, that must make kw on one day, all these starts.
Pépère: humm, I have to install a wattmeter on the pump, and a water meter to take stock.
It is true that he sets out quickly, the group ..

Don't worry Alain.

Calculated last year: excluding material depreciation, "raw" pumping is about 10 times less expensive with electricity at 0.25 € / kWh than water at 3 € / m3, to raise water by around ten m with a group of 800W general public (but not 1st prize) ...

To make this group profitable at 150 €, it is therefore necessary to pump 150 / (3 - 0.3) = 55 m3.

So relatively little for a garden watering ... if the pump is 1500 L / h ca 37 hours of pumping, less than 2 months if watering of 1 hour per day automatic ...

For a group that will make 3000 to 4000 hours of life (we hope) as long as it is not badly used, it is therefore very interesting ...

Obviously this is for "unfiltered, non-potable" water ... filtering costs more than pumping, especially if you want to drink ...

ps: maybe you can adjust the range of the pressure switch so that it trips less quickly (if not already done)?

Goods.
But hey, there is one more positive thing, it is that the washing machine, and the dishwasher do not clog anymore (the water heater ditto)
