Water story to stack!

by A2E » 05/10/05, 17:17

here are some shenanigans on water: Générale-Des-Eaux, Onyx Environmental, Dalkia, Veolia Water North America, Folkstone and Dover Water Services, Tendring Hundred Water Services, Connex.

• The company was formerly known under the name of "Vivendi Environnement", in reference to its parent company, "Vivendi Universal". Faced with massive debt and junk bonds, Vivendi Universal recently sold many assets (including its movie studio, TV and "shares" it held in "theme parks") to the NBC, thus creating "NBC Universal", in which Vivendi retained a 20% stake.

• In 2002, "Vivendi Universal" got rid of "its service unit": Vivendi Environnement.

• In 2003, to illustrate this change Vivendi Environnement changed its name to "Véolia Environnement". Vivendi Universal still owns around 5% of Véolia Environnement.

• In 2004, Véolia Environnement sold the shares of its “US.FILTER” service unit, renaming this water division: “Veolia Water North America”.

• Véolia Environnement is No. 463 among the 500 companies classified in the magazine: "Fortune"
• Net Income: 2.58 Billion $ US
• Net Revenue: 35.96 Billion $ US
• The "Water" division produces 40% of sales.

Véolia Environnement is the world's largest water treatment and sanitation company whose units serve more than 110 million customers in 84 countries.

Its President and CEO: Mr. Henri Proglio is also:
- Member of the Thales Group, an aeronautical defense electronics company;
- Member of the powerful lobby group: the Forum of European Services

In hand it is therefore a subsidiary of Volodia group which must buy SNCM, CONNEX, well let's see

If I continue it might smell like sulfur, don't you think?

I give you links of sites and the link concerning Veolia, as well as that concerning a contract signed between VEOLIA WATER and the national water company of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
This significant contract worth 35 million euros is fully funded by a protocol from the French government (it seemed to me that I heard that we had 1000 billion in debt)

Happy reading to you .............. a small bag to vomit maybe
