last year we had already done research on the pantone engine as part of our studies. After convincing the jury of the interest of the system, this year they offered to continue the project on an achievement ... so I'm just starting to collect information to carry out the feasibility study.
Information: - VW 4-cylinder flat engine (cox)
- 1300 or 1600 cc
- 4 in 1 collector
My questions are: is it achievable for a limited budget, without too many major changes to install the system in a beetle? what are the dimensions to realize?
How is the polarization of the reactor done (running-in: 20 minutes North / South orinety) and is it possible to force it with a magnetic field created by a coil?
thank you in advance

No problem, I advise you to read this study (2 hp engine)

Polarization is blank you don't mind with that!
The increase in the field via magnets did not show any difference in motor behavior ...

And it’s me you’re talking about B) Thanks for the ad
If by some miracle you are not too far from Montbéliard (you never know), I would be happy to give you some tips. Or even by phone if you are far away. (contact by PM)
After it is true that a cox engine it changes from a Flat Twin ... but hey, if necessary ...
For polarization, drop it is pipo. I launched the machine without problem without asking me the slightest question about the orientation.

Well, there was no Cox project on the forum now that i think about it?
Use the internal google search engine I just installed at the top

sorry if it's already somewhere in the forum I have been looking for a while without results ...
I am looking for the dimensioning of a reactor (or two, depending on the yield that we will obtain with the different solutions), I recall that the engine is a flat 4 cylinder cox with a displacement of 1300 or 1600cc.
thank you in advance for taking the trouble to help me in my research.
