Flight of VAE on Toulouse: did you see it?

by PP » 16/06/09, 12:15

Hello,

I come back to the forum after a long absence to ask for a helping hand in Toulouse: my VAE was stolen from the premises of my residence, as it cost me relatively expensive and that I do not count on insurance, I would like to try to find it, even if the chances are slim.
I don't have a photo, so I made a montage:
Image

28 '' bike brand Decathlon btwin 7 equipped with an electric kit
Luggage rack and Top case Decathlon
Front wheel motor brand el-bike N °: 7236V-250W071116029
Electric motor box under the luggage rack
Junction boxes on the handlebars and under the luggage rack
Many cables between the different boxes
Digital display on the handlebars
Round LED headlights
Crutch brand JEEP
Throttle grip and trigger derailleur to the right of the handlebars
Two U-locks stored on each side of the rear wheel
Some elements could be removed / replaced

Robbed without break-in Sunday 14/06 in the bicycle room of the residence.

If you have mp or mail information
Thank you for your help.
Reward if recovered.

In any case, you must file a complaint with the Police and report it to your insurance and your co-ownership trustee.

Then, with a few friends, take a tour of the 'flea market' and markets in your sector and watch e-bay (use the regional search function to find the sellers in your sector ...)

Think that in case your bike may be re-sold in spare parts.
If you have installed a kit, it is therefore removable and the bike can be sold on one side (just collect - fly -) a front wheel to sell the ATV on one side, and sell motor-controller-batteries the other. The thief can also mount the kit on his own bike.

In short good luck. I have a VAE too and it is true that it is a little worrying. I have 2 U's (one of which is a motorcycle) and a cable with a built-in alarm which is triggered in the event of a cable cut or bicycle movement (you can select what you want).

It's ugly to get stung on your bike : Evil:

But, voila, you had the good idea to put this here, and I would also advise you to file a complaint with the police ...

Good luck to you and above all, I cross my fingers :D

Theft in cellars is fashionable at the moment ...
A colleague was bitten by a bicycle and a tent ... stuff easily resold ...

Go for a trip to the braderies around your home this weekend ...

I had thought about it at the time of my repeated mob flights (a tracker was more than 10000 French francs at the time so I did not insist :D ) but something seriously worries me:

GPS TRACKING: SNOOPER TRACKING SPT200 Built-in rechargeable lithium battery (70h of autonomy)

70h in this case, it's nothing ... so the spy must be connected to the vehicle's battery at all times ... in the case of a "non-electric" bike it will be difficult therefore ...

be careful not to confuse 2 separate things about GPS cookies

1- communicating systems: generally with subscription.
the system detects its own position by reception of GPS signals and transmits these via GSM telephone network

2- the simple inexpensive GPS tracker which records their route in a memory or on a map and which can then be unloaded ... but on condition that the tracker is recovered.

the 1st can be used for the detection of stolen vehicle

the main use of the second is to follow unfaithful husbands!

Precisely it is a 1) this one ... since it sends SMS (must surely pay him a dedicated chip)

2) it is this kind of product: https://www.econologie.com/shop/recepteu ... p-283.html
